ALLEN GULCH CABINS

Allen Gulch Cabins offers a shared patio with gas grills and a fire pit for guest use. Outdoor furniture and dining sets allow guests to eat meals outside. The property also provides a washing machine for longer stays.

Cabins include fully equipped kitchens with private entrances and mountain views. Family rooms accommodate up to five people with multiple bedrooms and two bathrooms in the largest unit. Air conditioning and private bathrooms are standard in every cabin.

The cabins sit two blocks from Hill City's Main Street and within a 20-kilometer drive to Mount Rushmore. Black Hills National Forest is 17 kilometers away, and the Mickelsen Trail is a short walk from the property. Wildlife such as deer and turkeys regularly visit the grounds.

Located behind the cabins, the Tap Room is run by Maggie and offers beer on tap, mead, and pizza from a local shop. Guests gather there in the evenings after sightseeing to share stories. The host Shane and Maggie check in on guests to ensure a smooth stay.

The patio area with grills and a fire pit serves as a community gathering spot. Guests regularly use the public seating to relax and meet other travelers. The Tap Room adds a social element not found in typical hotels.
